1. Who we are

FieldStack ("we", "us", "our") is a field service management platform for home service franchise businesses. We are the data controller for personal data we collect through our platform and website.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following types of personal data:

• Account data: Name, email address, company name, and contact details when you sign up.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform.
• Employee data: Data you enter about your employees, including names, contact details, payroll information, and compliance documents.
• Customer data: Data you enter about your customers and properties.
• Payment data: Billing information processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card details.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the FieldStack platform
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send important product and security updates
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, payments, email). All processors are bound by data processing agreements.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. On account closure, we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, unless required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

8. Google user data (calendar sync)

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar to FieldStack, we access it through Google’s API using the calendar.events scope, only to:

• create, update, and delete calendar events for the jobs and visits assigned to you in FieldStack; and
• read your existing events to show your availability ("busy" times) within FieldStack so you are not double-booked.

We access only the calendar you explicitly connect, we store the OAuth tokens encrypted, and we never sell or transfer this data or use it for advertising. You can disconnect at any time from your FieldStack settings, which revokes our access.

FieldStack’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
